Sage Accpac ePOS Infrastructure

Internet-based – ePOS links remote retail locations to your head office over the Internet (dial-up or dedicated connection). A single installation of ePOS server connects multiple ePOS tills at remote locations. Since ePOS deploys over the Web, one store can view available stock at another store or put a sale on account for a customer.

Multi-till/Store Operations – ePOS supports multiple tills connected over a local area network (LAN) that links to your head office over the Internet.

Security – ePOS provides user access security at a detailed POS function level. The ACCPAC ePOS Server encrypts the data going to/coming from ACCPAC ePOS, ensuring secured transmissions over the Internet.

Real-time Processing – ePOS links with ACCPAC Accounting Solutions to provide real-time validations and updates to and from the centralized inventory and customer database. Real-time integration with your ACCPAC accounting system saves you valuable time by eliminating month-end reconciliation procedures and manual benefits. You'll benefit significantly from at-a-glance updates that instantly connect you to every area of your retail enterprise.

Integrated Receivables – ePOS enables selling to Accounts Receivables customers (on-account) utilizing their price lists and pricing levels. You can check customers' credit limits, active and inactive status, and prohibit sales to on-hold customers. New customers can be defined in ePOS and will be auto-populated in the Accounts Receivable module.

Integrated Order Entry – ePOS utilizes special item pricing and can create quotations, order confirmations, invoices, credit notes and receipts in the Order Entry module, extending the Advantage Series Order Entry module to the retail storefront.

Handles Complex Pricing Rules – ePOS integrates with Advantage Series Inventory Control and Accounts Receivables modules to ensure that the price customers should be paying for items is indeed the price they are charged.

Technology Leadership – ePOS integrates barcode readers, weigh scales, pole displays, magnetic stripe readers and other POS technologies you rely on every day.

Easy Operation – ePOS is easy to use. Single keystroke options and touch screen support is available for many common operations such as sale completion, payment, item return, suspend sale, quotation and cash drawer opening.

Credit Card Approval – ePOS accommodates credit card transactions. Use the built-in interface for Debit and Credit Card processing applications. Payments made with credit cards can be authorized in real-time.
